Rubbish Swindon Lose 3-0

Swindon Town (sort of)
0 - 3
Walsall

County Ground

23/2/2008, 3pm

Attendance: 6,265

Referee:

Swindon Town were beaten by a far more superior Walsall side this afternoon in a match that can only be described as absolue rubbish from a Swindon Town fans point of view.

Former Swindon Town loanee Lee Holmes scored 2 of the Walsall goals to send the Saddlers fans home happy with 3 easily earned points.

Swindon Town boss Maurice Malpas decided to drop Peter Brezovan prior to the game for no other reason that "just feeling that Phil deserved his chance".

Ok thats all well but what exactly has Brezovan done to be dropped? Nothing at all.

Jerel Ifil had his worst game in many a year and it appears that Maurice Malpas sexy football is the second coming of Andy King.

You must be having a laugh.

The 'honeymoon' period is over now, and it ain't looking too sweet at the moment. MM needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat soon or fans are going to start asking questions if they ain't already.

hmmm. I'd be looking worryingly down the table rather than up if this continues.
