Nottingham Forest 7 - Swindon Town 1

City Ground

25 February 2006

Attendance: 22444

Forest 7, Swindon Town 1

Former European Champions Nottingham Forest destroyed Swindon today with 7 goals, to give Forest a much deserved win over a lacklustre Town. There isn't much to write apart from that Swindon certainly looked like a side who deserved to be in the relegation zone. The score pretty much tell's the story. Within 5 minute's the 1200 Swindon supporter's who made the trip to the City Ground knew they were in for a long day. Jerel Ifil looked like the un-disciplined player of old and now faces a three game suspension after getting his second yellow card against Forest.

Star Player

The Whole Forest Side. They couldn't do anything wrong today, while Swindon couldn't do anything right. The only highlight for Swindon was Trevor Benjamin's first goal in a Town shirt.

Manager Rating

I don't think many fans will blame Iffy Onuora for today's performance. The player's heart's were not in it at all. The club badly need's Charlie Comyn-Platt and Paul Smith back. Both should be available for Tranmere.

Opponent Rating

Managerless Nottingham Forest did everything right today and made Swindon Town panic after the first goal. Totally outclassed Swindon, which resulted in the Town players arguing with each other.
