Swindon Town claw back from being down 2-0 but lose 3-2 as Town's woes continue as the search still goes on for a new manager.
A trio of errors each which could have been handled cost Town a valuable 3 points and now sit just outside the relegation places only on goal difference.
Yeovil took the lead just 10 minutes into the game despite Swindon dominating the first part of the match. Craig Alcock slotted home from close range due to a Phil Smith goalkeeping error to give the visitors an early advantage.
Lee Peltier doubled the lead for the visitors just before the half hour mark after Phil Smith failed to catch a ball allowing the ball to drop at Peltier's feet and the groans started from the stands.
Swindon Town were awarded a free kick which Michael Timlin took superbly making the score 1-2 to Yeovil as the teams went into the break.
After the teams came out for the second half, John-Paul McGovern slammed home the ball to make it 2 all as the Swindon faithful who had been quiet all game came alive.
The game looked as if it was destined to finish 2-2 but Jerel Ifil would head the ball into his own goal to restore Yeovil's lead.
The game would finish 3-2 to Yeovil and Swindon now must go back to the drawing board as the rot doesn't look to have any signs of ending any time soon.
