Swindon Town 3 - Brighton 0

Swindon Town players last night proved they are united in their battle for promotion to the Championship.

A lot has been made over the last few days about a divide in camp and despite a rather subdued first half against Brighton last night, Town would go on to thrash their opponents 3-0.

A brace from Newcomer Alan Navarro a goal from steady between Paul Benson proved without a shadow of a doubt that they are prepared to work the way boss Paolo Di Canio wants then too.

One would imagine Di Canio had stern words at half time and boy did the lads respond.

Town seemed to be chasing shadows in the first half but following the break you would be mistaken if you though Swindon were the team in the Championship.

Without sounding like a pessimist, Town need to build on this win. Many times it is said that a team rides a wave of good fortune following promotion but Town now need to prove this wasn't a one off to silence the critics and that they are the real deal!

COME ON YOU REDS!!!

Star Player

Andy Williams - Was heavily involved in all three goals, looks a class signing.
