A near perfect Swindon Town performance saw them beat visitors AFC Bournemouth comfortably at the County Ground 4-0.
Before we go into the report, We must note despite the scoreline, Bournemouth are NOT a bad team and looked impressive going forward, it just seems that their manager Paul Groves has no idea how to get the best out of the team or motivate them.
Groves made two substitutions at half time bringing on Josh's McQuoid and Wakefield, which is fine however with his team tiring he failed to make a last substitution. Anyone knows, yes Town were likely to win the game at 2-0, however if the Cherries claw one back, its a new game.
Back to the match action now, Long time Cherries target Matt Ritchie put Town ahead with a cracking shot past Shwan Jalal to the top right hand corner with only 12 minutes on the clock.
This one moment of magic set the tone for the afternoon as Town barely put a foot wrong all afternoon with some sublime passing and team work which really did make us look like Barcelona as Paolo has said on many occasions.
On 25 minutes Town would increase their lead to 2-0 thanks to a cracking goal by Andy Williams who is now starting to find the net after a frustrating start to the season despite some brilliant link up play thus far.
Shorly after the half time break, Town got lucky as Ritchie would score his second of the game with a cracking free kick just outside the area to make it 3-0.
Adam Rooney who had been brought on for James Collins earlier on would complete the beating by scoring just outside the box just before full time.
Another great performance from Town, long may it continue.
