Swindon Beat Coventry 2-1

Swindon Town won a massive three points at the Ricoh Arena in front of 3,000 traveling fans yesterday.

Coventry who had been on somewhat of a resurgence recently took an early lead on 2 minutes when Franck Moussa slammed the ball past Town keeper Wes Foderingham to give the Sky Blues an early 1-0 lead.

Town would enjoy most of the possession with Andy Williams missing quite a few chances throughout the game.

Town would finally get the goal they deserved on 85 minutes during a scramble in the goalmouth which Andy Williams poked home to make it 1-1 sending the 3,000 Town fans into a frenzy.

On 90 minutes Town fans were sent into ecstasy as Darren Ward headed home the winner for Swindon.

New Town boss Kevin MacDonald dedicated the win to former caretaker managers Tommy Miller and Darren Ward.

Town now sit third in the League One table.
