Town this evening saw off League Two side Plymouth Argyle with ease after coming back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 in the JPT this evening.
As usual Town fans moaned for a fair share of the match wanting the players to hoof the ball down the pitch instead of playing the sexy football we have be one accustomed too.
Andre Blackman scored on 6 minutes for The Pilgrims after a wicked deflection past debutant Tyrell Belford. Jack Barthram would level on 19 minutes to make it 1-1 heading into half time.
After half time Nicky Ajose would score to make it 2-1 Town which is how the have would end.
Lee Cox would play his first game for Town since March 2012 after coming on as a substitute for Louis Thompson. Jack Barthram would leave the pitch on a stretcher late in the game.
Elsewhere Oxford lost 2-1 to Pompey and Bristol City lost 2-1 to Wycombe. Wolverhampton Wanderers are also out of the JPT after losing to Notts County on penalties.
