An 8th minute penalty by Jack Smith ensures that Swindon Town take all 3 points again a very poor Chester City side at the County Ground this afternoon. REPORT AND STATS TO FOLLOW IN THE MORNING

Blair Sturrock & Jack Smith: Both players were immense. Sturrock made his first start for Town and never stopped running, whilst Smith scored a penalty and was solid at the back.

Unless we get lucky with our present strikers and they start scoring regularly we may struggle for an automatic place though.
