Swindon Lose Last Game?

Well if that was indeed Swindon Town's final fixture we went out with a wimper and it hurts to write this report.

Town who are very close to extinction looked nothing like a team who are gunning for promotion or the team that beat Gillingham 5-0 at the weekend.

Like the fans, the players minds appeared to be elsewhere. Where do we go from here? Will we have a club? Will we be wound up?

There was hardly any signing in the stands, just the odd chant of 'sack the board' and 'where's our money gone?', as if the fans were fighting for the last word.

Cheltenham outplayed us in every way and with Town not having a league fixture this weekend, only 3,765 fans made the effort to come to the County Ground for what was perhaps the final time.

It is rumoured Town could fold within 2 weeks with crippling debts ending a 127 year tradition in Swindon.

The fans - They have followed their team up and down the country. If the club does fold now, I will miss the passion of the fans.
