Brighton & Hove Albion

County Ground, Swindon

15/12/2007

Attendance: 6,415

Referee:

Well, If Swindon Town have played their last game they went out with barely a wimper. Town put on a shocking performance and never looked like they were ever going to create anything.

Brighton took the lead 2 minutes in and never looked back. The off the field issues took centre stage today with chants of 'STAND UP IF YOU WANT FITTON' rang around the County Ground, most of the ground stood up as well as chants of 'sack the board' and 'we are fitton's red and white army.'

By the second half most of the Swindon fans left after the 73rd minute and left about 2,000 Swindon fans to watch the seagulls circle their pray.

The future does not sound promising, lets just hope that everything is sorted off the field soon.

I think this whole episode is getting to everyone.. the players must be playing thinking about their immediate future or pay packets.
