EDITORS BLOG: Signings, PDC V Wes, Oxford Away

Volume Two of our Editors Blog. STFC_Gazza discusses everything Swindon Town

New Signings
Well Di Canio went all out once again didn`t he? Signing 5 new players. Darren Ward is an interesting one for me. Could be a defender in the mould of Gordon Greer. Much has been made about our strikers lack of goal scoring from our strikers so far. Well Adam Rooney has been brought in to bridge that gap. He reminds me a bit of James Collins. John Bostock was a nice surprise and did well at Preston North End. Giles Coke didn`t really impress me on the basis he has never really done a lot in the lower leagues but we won`t judge until we have actually seen him play.

Wes Foderingham V PDC
Very strange one and a sad one. This is a move that could desperately upset the team. Foderingham has been immense here but no one is bigger than the team. Di Canio has his own way and I guess you have to back him, but this is the second marquee player her has fallen out with, this cant continue to happen. Something has to give and lets hope both can amicably sort their differences out. Bedwell in my opinion is not ready to step up to the big time so without dwelling too much on this issue, lets hope this row has a happy ending unlike the Paul Caddis fiasco.

Oxford Away
Could be a very interesting one. What team will Paolo put out? Seems inevitable that Bedwell will start, Paolo stated he would change the whole team but can only change 5 players so it will be interesting to see just who makes the cut. Anyway we need revenge so will go for a 2-1 win but Oxford`s form so far this season has been good. That said it isn`t mid season yet so their usual collapse wont start until after Christmas. Tickets still available from the STFC Box Office.
