'If It's Football, It's Vital'

OPPOSITION VIEW: Coventry City

Thanks to Alex Wolstenholme at Vital Coventry City for taking part in this Q&A. Be sure to stop by for their view of our match by Clicking Here.

1) Coventry City currently face some financial uncertainty, what can you tell us about this?
The club's owners - SISU - have said they will continue to support it for the next three seasons and they have invested in the playing squad this season, unlike last, so financial concerns are a bit less of a problem at the moment it seems.

2) Coventry have started the season slowly despite being one of the bigger clubs in the division, any ideas what has gone wrong so far?
A series of poor performances from the players which cost Andy Thorn his job and put paid to Richard Shaw succeeding him.

3) Mark Robins was recently appointed manager of Coventry, Did you get the right man?
Yes based on the early signs. He has got his message across to the players quickly, imposed discipline on them and comes across very well in his after-match assessments.

4) Does the Ricoh Arena feel like home yet?
With around 20,000 empty seats at each match it doesn't feel too homely at the moment!

5) Did the London 2012 Olympics hinder your pre-season preperations at the Ricoh?
No

6) What player should Swindon fans look out for?
Loan striker David McGoldrick is in good form

7) What do you think of Paolo Di Canio?
Used to enjoy watching him as a player and his passion for the game has carried on into management which is a good thing.

8) What do you know about Swindon Town?
I've got some good memories of them from the Ossie Ardiles/Glenn Hoddle times - wasn't there a classic play-off game under Hoddle when the lead kept changing hands against Leicester?

9) Do you have any specific Coventry City V Swindon Town memories?
A 1-1 draw at Highfield Road in 1994/95 (ish) when the Sky Blues had a loan player called Chris Marsden pulling the strings and played some great football. All the fans wanted Marsden signed but he ended up at Wolves.

10) What are your predictions for Saturday`s match?
The Sky Blues are more solid and improving fast - a 1-0 win for the visitors.
